How to Measure Your Bike

Our Philosophy

Being in Silicon Valley we share everyone's enthusiasm for the Internet. But sometimes there is no substitute for hands-on service from someone with experience, and many products need to be tested out before you can really decide if they are right for you. At SVCC we've tried to carve out our own niche and our goal is simple: to deliver unique products and services while exceeding our customer's every expectation.

Bike and Equipment Rentals

Whether you are in town for business or pleasure, it would be a shame to miss out on some of Northern California's most fabulous riding. Our rental service ensures you'll have maximum time to enjoy our awesome roads and active cycling scene.

If you are considering buying new equipment this can be a great way to test it out and make sure you will be happy with the purchase.

All rental fees can be applied toward purchase of new equipment from our parent company, Silicon Valley Cycling Center. Click here for details.

Bike Rentals

Our rental service is designed for business travelers or short-visit vacationers who want a really nice road bike on which to enjoy some challenging terrain. If you need a cruiser or kids bike, we can recommend other shops that cater to that. If you want a carbon race bike, with upgrade options like GPS, power meters, and carbon race wheels, you've found the right place. We offer:

Road bikes from Look, Cyfac, and Lynskey (pics and details here)
Components a mix of Shimano Dura-Ace & Ultegra, SRAM Rival & Force, all 10 speed
Cyclo-computer, pump, and toolkit on all bikes
Upgrades available (GPS, PowerTap, carbon wheels)
Helmets from Bell

Our Premium Service includes delivery/pickup at your hotel, nutritional products (energy gels, electrolyte drinks), and we will switch the sadddle to match your preference.

Rental Rates

Pick up your bike at our studio in Campbell, just a few minutes from the San Jose International Airport, and set off for some great rides from the studio or make a short drive to one of the many riding areas surrounding Silicon Valley.

One-Three days: $75 per day
$50/day Starting on the fourth rental day
A full week: $300
Bring your own pedals We're happy to install them for you. We can provide helmets.

Premium Service

If you want the ultimate in service and convenience, our Premium Service includes delivery 24x7 all over Silicon Valley as well as route planning, nutritional products, and you can specify your saddle preference.

Clipless pedals are included with our Premium Service. We have a wide selection of the popular brands.

3 Day Package

$350 for 3 days of riding
$75 per day for additional days
Drop off before 5 p.m. or pickup after 10 a.m. counts as a rental day. We don't count if we drop off after 5 or pickup before 10. This accomodates most business travel schedules.

2 Day Package

$250 for 2 days of riding
Includes same delivery and bike customization (pedals/saddle) as the 3 day package

Single Day Rental

$150 for a day
Includes delivery and bike customization (pedals/saddle)

We offer a number of upgrade options that can further trick out the bike or give you a chance to test ride some very nice new equipment.

GPS/HR Monitor Upgrade - $45 for initial multi-day package, $10/day thereafter

BikeStash

Many of our clients travel to the Bay area regularly and also have a spare bike at home collecting dust (doesn't every serious cyclist?). So...why not leave that second bike with us and let us deliver it to your hotel, cleaned, lubed & ready to ride, when you are in town?

If you have a friend who wants to use your bike, no problem - your deliveries are transferrable for a small charge that will still get your riding buddy on the road for a lot less than a regular rental.
